Sample Itineraries

 

With so many popular attractions, it can be hard to decide what to do during your visit.  Listed below are suggested itineraries depending on how long you are able to spend in Williamsburg.  For more detailed suggestions contact a local vacation specialist at 866-341-4866. 

 

 

When Busch Gardens is open we suggest a two day visit to Williamsburg should include the area’s most popular attractions: Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens.  During the winter months when Busch Gardens is closed we suggest substituting the Williamsburg Winery or Premium Outlets.

 

With three days we suggest visits to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and either Jamestown Settlement or Water Country USA (open during summer months only).  A visit to Jamestown Settlement is likely not a full day, therefore we suggest a visit to the Williamsburg Winery or Premium Outlets to complete your day. 

 

With four days you can really begin to enjoy more of what Williamsburg has to offer.  We recommend taking advantage of all of the suggestions in the “three day getaway” and, time permitting, add a round of golf on Williamsburg’s championship golf courses.

 

With five days prepare to relax and enjoy a great vacation.  Spend two days visiting Busch Gardens and Water Country USA with their Discovery Ticket.  This will also allow you to return to the parks another evening if you decide you need more time there.  In addition, plan to spend a day to a day and a half at Colonial Williamsburg incorporating lunch or dinner at a Colonial Tavern.   A half day at Jamestown Settlement and a half day at Yorktown Victory Center will complete the historical aspect of your stay, be sure to have lunch or dinner along the Yorktown Riverwalk.  Your final day can incorporate a variety of activities depending on your interests including championship golf, the Williamsburg Winery, Ripley's Believe it or Not! or the Premium Outlets.  Finally be sure to spend one evening on a Spooks and Legends Haunted Tour of Colonial Williamsburg.
